In 2004 we had the honor of filming the wedding of Don Curtiss and Michelle Quisenberry in a town called Volterra in Tuscany, Italy. When the couple came back home to Seattle they opened a new Italian restaurant in Ballard named Volterra. The food is amazing and the ambiance is cozy yet swanky all at once! Chef Don has received rave reviews from all over, including the New York Times. Volterra has definitely become one of “THE” places to eat in Seattle!

Now they have expanded by adding the Drawing Room right next to the restaurant. This hip spot is perfect for rehearsal dinners, small weddings and other events. Chihuly art lines the walls along with a state of the art A/V system (which would be perfect to show your Same Day Edit or Love Story created by us!) Here is a video from their opening night. Dale Chihuly was there to cut the ribbon for “A Dinner and A Movie” with SIFF and director Ang Lee.
