Mindy & Brian

I met Mindy while I was working as an RN at St. Joe’s Emergency Department in Tacoma. She was a new ER nurse and I kind of took her under my wing and enjoyed teaching her some ER stuff. One slow night I brought in a portable DVD player and showed off a few wedding videos. Everyone loved them and Mindy commented to me that we would DEFINITELY be doing her video someday even though she wasn’t even dating anyone at the time!
Well fast forward a few years and we were one of the first people Mindy called after Brian’s surprise engagement in New York City’s Central Park. Luckily someone was secretly filming the engagement too so that will eventually wind up on their final DVD…how cool is that? Anyway, since she called us first I was also able to recommend a ‘dream team’ of wedding vendors so of course the day turned out fabulous!
To say I have been anticipating this wedding for the last year would be a huge understatement! Mindy was a gorgeous bride and emotions ran high (my favorite kind of wedding!). Brian is such a great guy and he obviously adores Mindy. He asked us to create a Same Day Edit but deliver it the day after the wedding where he surprised her with it at a post-wedding luncheon at her Mom’s house. I can’t even begin to tell you what an honor it was to be part of this wedding. I just love my job!!! 
Special thanks to Jerome who flew out from Tennessee to help shoot. You did a great job, especially with the Glidecam shots!

Gorgeous video Laura! Mindy and Brian were a dream couple to work with and so in love. When Brian sees Mindy for the first time in the video his reaction brings tears to my eyes. Beautiful job as always Laura!

Laura, you guys did a wonderful job. It looks like Jerome also did a great job for you with that glidecam work. I loved the song and the edit.. you guys amaze me with your same day edits.. great job. I am looking forward to working with you next year in Hawaii

WOW! Great job Laura! You really captured the great moments of Mindy and Brian’s beautiful day. Mindy told me how shocked she was when she was surprised with the video clip. She says she watched it many times and cried every time. You captured the emotion that was shared between these two that are so deeply in love. Excellent!
